What We Do

What we do

OmniChannel Commerce

to win with today’s digitally connected consumer.

Help your customers do business with you whenever, wherever and however they please. Provide a seamless, personalized and uniform user experience whether the customer shops on the Web, in the store, over the phone, using a mobile device or all of the above.

Why The Future Of Digital Commerce Is The Omnichannel

DevignCommerce.com is one of a new breed of companies looking to enable retailers/businesses to compete and grow. We are trying to democratize the technology so that retailers can focus on what’s important, sourcing great products and servicing their customers.

BUY

Solutions for supply chain, procurement and partner integration

In the old world of retail shopkeeping, buyers would try their best to keep up with industry trends. Now, with streamlined supply chains and big data on consumer purchasing habits, the challenge is to get all of the relevant data in front of buyers so they can make smart decisions about suppliers, trends and products.

MARKET

Solutions for campaign management, digital marketing and web analytics

Shift from grabbing attention to holding attention, marketers need to track consumer behavior, deliver relevant messages and manage their customer relationships in real time.

SELL

Solutions for commerce and fulfillment

Making desktop and mobile fully compatible with legacy POS and inventory systems is a challenge, to say the least, but that’s what needs to be done if retailers are to provide a truly seamless experience.

SERVICE

Solutions for customer service and case management

Probably the biggest challenge is service.  The customer expects anyone in the organization to be able to solve their problems.  A bad experience in one area will affect how they feel about the whole brand. Your systems need to be fully integrated to provide insights across all channels and everyone in the organization needs to be able to access information about the full customer experience.

The Future of Digital Commerce Is In-Store

e-Commerce is a small part of retail. The biggest opportunity for merchants is to merge digital insights with in-store physical experiences.

Remember:

Content is King
(Bill Gates – 1996)

Commerce is the new content in that it has become the center of digital innovation.  As the technology continues to democratize, it will fade into the background and traditional skills will once again come to the fore.

OpenERP Connector for webshops like Magento

The connector between the Open Source solutions OpenERP and Magento allows to centrally and automatically manage a large volume of orders (several hundred orders per day). Each solution has its own strengths: the feature-rich e-Commerce platforms provide online merchants with unprecedented flexibility and control over the look, content and functionality of their e-Shop (promotion of products and sales) while OpenERP manages sales, logistics and finance.

Magento OpenERP Connector

  • Automated synchronization of orders, customers, product catalog, inventory levels, order status, parcel track number, etc.
  • Customization and automation of workflows related to means of payment and shipping methods
  • Management of invoicing and partial deliveries
  • Multi-shop, multi-language, multi-country, multi-currency

Workflow supported by OpenERP connector Magento  results in:

  1. The product catalog is managed in OpenERP and pushed on the e-Shop
  2. The customer places an order and pays online
  3. The order is retrieved by OpenERP, and the customer is created if he doesn’t already exist
  4. The order generates a logistics workflow resulting in a delivery order and a financial workflow, which, in turn, generates an invoice. The invoice automatically creates the related accounting entries
  5. The order status is sent back to the e-Shop
  6. Inventories are managed in OpenERP
  7. OpenERP generates purchase orders (PO) and/or production orders,if needed
  8. The inventory level is sent back to the e-Shop
  9. By integrating all sales channels, OpenERP becomes the central back office tool

OpenERP

OpenERPOpenERP (originally called Tiny ERP) is a Management Software, set of business applications that is downloaded more than any other in the world, with over 600 downloads per day. Today it is available in 18 languages and has a worldwide network of partners and contributors. Over 800 developers participate in the projects on the collaborative development system.

To our knowledge, OpenERP is the only management system which is routinely used not only by big companies but also by very small companies and independent companies. This diversity is an illustration of the software’s flexibility: a rather elegant coordination between people’s functional expectations of the software and great ease of use.

And this diversity is also found in the various sectors and trades which use the software, including agricultural products, textiles, public auctions, IT, and trade associations.

Last but not least, such software has arisen from the blend of high code quality, well-judged architecture and use of free technologies. In fact, you may be surprised (if you are an IT person) to find that the download size of OpenERP is only around 6 MB. When that is expanded during installation its size is mostly attributable to all the official translations that are packaged with it, not the operating code. We’ve moved a long way from the days when the only people who could be expected to benefit from ERP were the owners of a widget factory on some remote industrial estate.
